Public:Private Awards 2007 7/6/2007 Two of the completed Bradford & Airedale Lift buildings have recently been short listed for major awards:
Haworth Medical Practice was nominated within the ‘Best Operational Design’ category at the prestigious ‘Public Private Finance Awards’ held at Grosvenor House in London. This category was open to all buildings developed via public/private finance and therefore represents a tremendous achievement for the company and the Practice.
Westbourne Green Community Health Care Centre was also short listed at the ‘RICS Pro Yorkshire Awards’ held recently at Leeds Town Hall where the very best examples of architectural design and innovation within the Yorkshire region were championed. Westbourne Green was nominated within the ‘Community’ category as an example of how a well designed and carefully located building can enhance the lives of those living and working within local communities.
Company Chairman, David Richardson, commented “These two nominations represent a tremendous amount of hard work that has been undertaken during the past three years.
Only one other Lift building was shortlisted nationally for a PPF award, whilst we were the only Lift Company in Yorkshire to be shortlisted at the RICS event. The quality of the buildings that have been designed and developed in Bradford & Airedale compare very favourably with those within both the region and on a national basis.
Our intention is to continue to deliver high quality, flexible buildings which offer value for money and provide the very best healthcare environments for patients and healthcare professionals alike”.
