  • Accent Group – the Bradford based community investment business is our private sector partner. Accent owns 60% of our shares and has three representatives on the Board of directors;
  • Bradford & Airedale Teaching Primary Care Trust (tPCT) own 20% of our shares and have one representative on the Board of Directors;
  • Community Health Partnerships (CHP) – owned by the Department of Health, also own 20% of our shares and have one representative on the Board of Directors.

In 2004 Bradford & Airedale Care Partnerships Ltd entered into a long term exclusive Public Private Partnership (PPP) with its public sector partners. The PPP was created in Bradford & Airedale as a response to the government’s NHS Plan published in July 2000. The NHS Plan identified that much of the primary health care estate in England was in a poor condition and required modernisation and substantial investment. This modernisation was essential for the delivery of improved and enhanced primary care services. LIFT companies, such as this one, have therefore been created to develop modern, fit for purpose, facilities for primary community and social care users.
